One thing we have learned over the years is that gardens are better when they are shared. Through working together, our volunteers feel that they have contributed to the making of a very special environment.
Work at the Community Garden has always been a team effort and a great deal of love and commitment has been poured into the garden since the Project started.
The Community Garden is both a stimulating environment and a sanctuary - and has now been enhanced by the construction of the Tranquility Garden.
The Garden provides tasty organic food, plays host to a variety of wildlife, and has been the forum for many an important conversation. For some of our volunteers, the Garden has stimulated their appetite for new things: it has opened up doors and widened their horizons.
