Welcome to our beautiful Award-winning Garden

2015 was a great year for the garden. Visitor numbers were up, with both local people, clubs and societies, and lots of tourists, plus judges from South West in Bloom and Britain in Bloom, who described the Garden as “a hidden gem run entirely by voluntary effort. It is colourful and productive and now includes a beehive and gloriously colourful compost toilet.

This year the Garden will again be hosting Kingsbridge Open Gardens in June, raising funds for the garden and our local hospice, St Luke's.  Two years ago we made over £2500 - can you help us improve on that?  There will be plenty of interest to see all round town, with superb planting, wild-life features and of course delicious refreshments!       If you would like to open your garden this year, do let us know!        And put the dates of   11th and 12th June in your diary now!

In the meanwhile, it goes without saying that we extend a warm welcome to any visitors, including would-be helpers, and invite anyone who would like to find out more about volunteering to come along on a Friday morning. It's not just gardening – it's a way of life!
